State of the Region: Poised for Growth, 5/25

Throughout our three-state region, big accomplishments and visionary leaders are positioning Greater Philadelphia for success.

Join us for the sixth annual State of the Region on Tuesday, May 25, 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia. We'll highlight significant development projects in our region's leading sectors and discuss how they are creating a vibrant future for Greater Philadelphia.

Through a panel discussion moderated by WHYY's Tracey Matisak, we'll hear from the leaders of one of the world's largest investment management companies, with global headquarters in Valley Forge; the United States Military's first three-branch base; and the largest university in Delaware, which serves as a major driver of economic growth for the state.

F. William McNabb, III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Vanguard, will deliver the keynote address. Panelists-to-date include Col. Gina M. Grosso, Joint Base & 87th Air Base Wing Commander, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and Dr. Patrick T. Harker, President, University of Delaware.

Also at this event, Select Greater Philadelphia President & CEO, Thomas G. Morr, will release their fifth annual Regional Report, which identifies trends in our region's primary industry sectors and compares Greater Philadelphia's key benefits against other U.S. markets.
