US Airways Expands International Flights from PHL
US Airways has announced it will be running two additional flights from the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Europe next spring. These new seasonal nonstop daily services to Oslo, Norway, and Birmingham, England indicate that the airline is still committed to investing in our region, regardless of current economic challenges.
Philadelphia International Airport is an integral part of the region’s economy. It is one of the largest economic engines in Pennsylvania, with a $14 billion economic impact on the region.
US Airways is the airport’s main carrier, and is responsible for 61% of its traffic.
